Jackson Family Update!

Spring is here and we are having a blast living at Papa's house! Cash James LOVES playing outdoors and we are taking advantage of the weather. It has been a lot of fun for me as well. Walking the streets of my childhood makes me feel like i've come full circle with my family & son. Although most wouldn't enjoy living in their childhood home as an adult I see it as a blessing. Not only are we able to save money to hopefully buy a home of our own, I am also able to give Cash the chance to bond with Papa and the great grandparents. It is a beautiful neighborhood & we have been walking at least once a day, sometimes twice! I enjoy looking at the houses I grew up in and around... i've never seen so much pride of ownership than North Everett. All the old homes kept up to perfection - it's gorgeous!! Everyone is so friendly as well. People are beginning to recognize me in my orange stroller and they wave or stop to talk as we walk by... I love it! I cannot wait for the warm months to come and i'm looking forward to May when my mom moves back up from AZ for the summer! Here are a few pics of our daily adventures. Enjoy!

The Jackson's have moved!!

Hi All! For those of you that do not know we have moved out of our condo in Issaquah. We are currently living at my dads house in Everett where, i'm sad to say, i will not have internet access and thus won't be updating the blog...

If we have a big event or cute pics/video I will try to upload from a friends house or starbucks but just wanted everyone to know we'd be gone for a bit....

Birthday teaser...

We are SO swamped with packing/organizing & moving but I wanted to put a few pics up of Cash's little birthday party we had for him. He was a trooper, long day with lots of excitement but he handled it well!! Happy Birthday Big Boy!!! xoxox

HAPPY 1st BIRTHDAY CASH JAMES!!

Hard to imagine but it's finally here... CASH JAMES is ONE YEAR OLD TODAY!!!! I took him to NY Cupcakes to get a mini red velvet cupcake & I bought him a balloon at the party store! I figured that's what any 1 year old really wants! Here are a few pics, we will be opening gifts tonight when Brandon gets home (and eating more cupcakes, yum!)

Where does the time go...

It's so hard to believe that a year ago today I was 9 months prego and hoping each and every day that THAT DAY would be Cash's BIRTHday... I know I sound like a broken record but this past year has gone by SO fast! Cash James will be ONE YEAR OLD in only 4 days... he is such a wonderful little man. I couldn't have asked for a better baby. He really does make our lives 1000 times better. We are blessed beyond words!

I have been looking through his "baby" (newborn) pictures the past few days.. it's crazy how fast he's grown and how much he has changed and learned. I am so lucky to have such a hard working husband that allows me to stay home with Cash and help him learn & grow first hand. All I’ve ever wanted to be was a mom… my dreams have finally come true and I’m enjoying every second of it!!

Cash James has been walking up a storm today. We still need to buy the new video camera (my deadline was christmas AM, now his birthday!) so this is pretty dark, sorry. Half the evening i've been chasing him around trying to get the camera from him.. I finally traded him for my cell phone and got some decent footage! Enjoy!!

Cash James is 11 months old

I cannot believe we are almost to the one year mark. Where does the time go? I know, I sound like a broken record, but seriously... has it really been a year almost?

Today we took Cash to his buddy Isaiah's 2nd birthday party at Little Gym. He had SO much fun! The funny thing is that Cash was more interested in how everything worked than actually playing ... as in the springs on the spring board or the air pump to the blow up jumpee... he's so mechanical. Tomorrow we are going to the party store to pick a theme ( i'm leaning towards funny farm, lol) and send out invites to his 1st birthday... I still can't believe it... our baby boy is a toddler!

Time flies when you are having fun; i've never understood that quote until now!!
